Our Mission

At Lillian Schumacher Elementary, all staff, students, and families will:
Focus on Learning by creating a safe learning environment, establishing high expectations, and differentiating our instruction to meet the needs of all learners. 
Focus on Results as we use data to drive our instruction, guide intervention to improve student learning, and celebrate the success of all.
Focus on Collaboration through reflective practice in an environment of mutual respect and trust to make informed student centered decisions.

The PTSA is a vital organization at HMS that fosters collaboration and engagement among parents, teachers, and students. It works to create a supportive environment for students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. PTSA continues to organize educational events, fundraising for school resources, advocating for student needs, and promoting parent involvement in school activities.

The school counseling program will be focused on partnerships with administrators, teachers, parents, and the community to promote the highest level of student achievement in academics, personal/social development, and early career exploration.
